Joyo is a small design studio near Boston, MA. We make wood jewelry, accessories, and small home goods using both laser technology and traditional craft techniques. Joyo is run by husband and wife team, Damian and Jenn Liddiard. Combining Jenn’s background in graphic design and jewelry fabrication and Damian’s background as an architect, we work at the intersection of art and technology to create clean, modern pieces. Our new work starts with Jenn’s illustrations, which are laser etched into wood, then hand painted.
We like to make things. We met while building a house for a solar design competition in 2008. Since then, we’ve been inspiring and motivating each other while we completed two house renovations (doing most of the work ourselves), created our handmade wedding, started a business, and had a son. When we’re not in the studio, we can be
found hanging out with our toddler, surfing, skiing, hiking, baking cookies (Jenn), eating cookies (Damian), and drinking a lot of coffee.
noa features the work of 100+ New England artists and everyday people. We support the local and regional artisan communities as well as provide unique choices for our customers—both local and friends from afar.
